Release notes

What's new and improved on theQA, for researchers and participants.

  1. Latest

    A new theQA homepage

A redesigned homepage for researchers and participants, with live product demos, case studies and a clearer path to getting started.

    New

    • See theQA build a study. The researcher hero now plays a short demo: describe a study, watch theQA draft it, then refine it in plain words.
    • The theQA panel. A new section shows the size of our verified panel, how every submission is checked, and our 2-week money-back deadline.
    • Case studies and a blog. Read how brands in Kuwait use theQA, on the homepage and at /blog.
    • A homepage for participants. Switch to Participate to see how it works for respondents: stories from participants and a step-by-step guide to joining, answering studies and getting paid.
    • Release notes. This page, linked from the footer.

    Improved

    • How it works now walks through each step with a live preview of the product.
    • FAQ answers open and close smoothly and work fully with a keyboard and screen readers.
    • Footer links are simpler, and the footer now shows only links to sections on the page you're viewing.
    • Navigation is cleaner on phones, with large, easy-to-tap links.
  2. A new way to log in and sign up

Sign in or create an account with your phone or email and a 6-digit code, with password login, a simpler profile and clearer help when something goes wrong.

    New

    • Log in or sign up in one place. Enter your phone number or email, then the 6-digit code we send you. Pasting the code or using autofill works, and resending tells you whether the code actually went out.
    • Password login. If you prefer a password, choose whether to sign in with your phone or your email.
    • Forgot your password? A new reset flow gets you back in without contacting support.
    • Magic links. Open the link we email you to sign in with one click.
    • Confirm both contact details. New accounts can be asked for both an email and a phone number, so we can reach you either way.

    Improved

    • One page for your profile. Edit your whole profile in one place, and add any missing details in a single form instead of several prompts.
    • Bank details are protected. Changing your bank details now asks for your password or a code.
    • Clearer dead ends. If an account already exists, a number is already in use or an account is deactivated, you see what happened and where to get help.
    • Kuwaiti numbers. While it's switched on, only Kuwaiti phone numbers are offered at sign-up.
    • Cleaner screens. Moving between login steps keeps your place for screen readers, and no message appears after you log in.
    • Monthly income has a new 2,000 to 2,999 KWD range.
  3. One consistent look across theQA

Buttons and colours now look and behave the same everywhere, and signed-in visitors can jump straight to their dashboard from the website.

    New

    • Dashboard button on the website. When you're signed in, the website shows a Dashboard button so you can get back to your studies in one click.

    Improved

    • Buttons look and behave the same on every page, including hover, loading and disabled states.
    • Colours are consistent across the website, your dashboard and the study builder.
    • Countries question now has its own globe icon in the study builder.
  4. Smoother sign-in

Fixes for signing in with a one-time code, and you now land back where you were after logging in.

    Fixed

    • Signing in with a one-time code no longer sends you back to the login screen in a loop.
    • A brief connection problem no longer signs you out.

    Improved

    • If you're asked to sign in while opening a page, you're taken back to that page, with your filters intact, once you're signed in.
